Five social workers from KBF, RACCO NCR, and the Manila Department of Social Welfare were gathered last July 26, 2023, at the KBF Conference Room for a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) facilitated by Atty. Carmela Castro as part of the Evaluation of the Project on Working Together Towards a More Effective and Efficient Foster Care System.
Earlier, from September 13-16, 2022, these social workers were chosen to participate in the Training of Social Workers and Supervisors that will pilot test the Modules and Session Plans of the Standard Training Manual developed for the Project.
Encouraged to speak freely, the social workers shared significant information on how the topics and contents of the training modules increased their knowledge and helped improve their competency in foster care program implementation. On the other hand, they also shared their suggestions for improving the training regarding content and methodology.
