Recognizing their vital role, the Family and Community Outreach Program (FCOP) hosted a meaningful Health Education Seminar entitled βSafe Motherhood and the Strengthening of Maternal and Newborn Care.
25 incredible pregnant women and new mothers from Barangay Socorro joined the seminar, some accompanied by their husbands and family members for support! The event aimed to equip moms with essential knowledge for a safe and healthy pregnancy.
Each participant received baby kits filled with diapers, bath items, and vitamins like Molvite-OB and Foralivit Capsules.
Dr. Jennifer Relucio, an inspiring pediatrician, led engaging discussions on pregnancy health, nutrition, and safe newborn practices, highlighting the critical importance of the first 1,000 days for mother and baby.
Mothers shared their heartfelt stories, expressing gratitude for the practical insights on vitamins, vaccines, and self-care. They left feeling empowered, knowing their health and well-being matter just as much as their babyβs!
Letβs continue supporting mothers in their journey to nurture the next generation. We celebrate their strength, dedication, and boundless love for their families!
