Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) is the heartbeat of the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development. Co-created by Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross, TBRI is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children.

The principles of TBRI are connecting, empowering, and correcting. Together, these three principles work to address physical needs, cater to attachment needs, and disarm fear-based behaviors.
